Opening Day Preview: Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers starter the year off incredibly strong in 2014. They remained in first place above both the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals for the first half of the season, keeping control of the National League Central. Going into the All-Star break they led the division by a game over the Cardinals but things quickly went downhill in the second half.

Their offense just ran out. The team completely imploded, making careless mistakes and not playing at all like the team seen all throughout the first half of the season. The Brewers, who were very much in playoff contention even during their downfall, still finished the season over the .500 mark but they missed the playoffs. The team finished third in the N.L. Central, eight games behind the Division Champion Cardinals and six games behind the San Francisco Giants and the Pirates who took the two N.L. Wild Card spots both finishing the season at 88-74.

The Brewers were and still are a talented team whose aim is to remain consistent throughout the entire 2015 season.
