Tony Campana, who was signed by the Chicago White Sox to a minor league deal that included an invite to big league spring training, tore his ACL during a recent workout according to MLB.com beat writer Scott Merkin.

He was signed this off-season as a free agent by the White Sox after spending time last season with both the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Angels.
Campana batted just .187 in 75 at-bats and played in just 44 total games in 2014. Despite his limited playing time, he did hit well after being traded to the Angels in July along with left-handed pitcher Joe Thatcher for minor leaguers Zach Borenstein and Joey Krehbiel.
