Yahoo’s Jeff Passan reports that the Milwaukee Brewers are in serious talks with the Philadelphia Phillies about a trade for closer Jonathan Papelbon. Papelbon can block trades to 17 teams but it is unknown if Milwaukee is one of them and Papelbon could always go ahead and approve the trade if they were.
