Mets’ prospect L.J. Mazzilli suspended for violating MiLB drug policy


Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that New York Mets’ prospect L.J. Mazzilli, son of former Major League All-Star, coach and manager Lee Mazzilli, has been suspended 50 games without pay for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

It was Mazzilli’s second positive test for a drug of abuse. The substance he tested positive for has not been released.  For more on this story follow the link below:
