The 2014 MLB All- Injury team was not an easy group to pick. It seems as though the entire year has been one big injury after another. Guys started going down right at the beginning of spring training and the epidemic, mostly among pitchers – 90% of whom needed Tommy John surgery, has not stopped.

Before the season started both the Atlanta Braves and the Oakland A’s lost two of their top starters to Tommy John surgery in Brandon Beachy and Kris Medlen and A.J. Griffin and Jarrod Parker. And within just the past 24 hours multiple players have been put on the disabled list, most notably the Colorado Rockies’ Troy Tulowitzki who is having season ending hip surgery and Texas Rangers’ ace Yu Darvish who complained of a sore elbow (never a good sign).

Basically, this wasn’t as easy a job as you would think! I am sticking with position players only because with the number of Tommy John surgeries and all the pitchers who are in various stages of recovery it would be difficult to pick just a select few.  So here are my picks for the 2014 MLB All-Injury Team.  You have to click on the link to find out who I have chosen to bestow this lovely honor upon (poor guys!):
